China

Ningbo: The 7-day average vessel waiting time is around 1.71 days. Recent dense fog caused terminal closures at NGB, leading to operational disruptions and continued waiting times due to poor visibility. Temporary berth constraints at YZCT, driven by RTG deliveries earlier in the month, resulted in waiting times of approximately 1.5–2 days; however, this impact has now passed.

Qingdao: The 7-day average vessel waiting time is around 1.97 days.  Ongoing port closures due to poor visibility are expected to sustain elevated waiting times. Qingdao remains heavily congested, with waiting times of approximately 2–3 days this week.

Shanghai: The 7-day average vessel waiting time is around 1.83 days. Ongoing port closures due to poor visibility are expected to sustain elevated waiting times. WGQ waiting times remain around 2.5 days, driven by concentrated mainliner arrivals, while YGS12 reports average delays of 1–2 days.

Japan

Yokohama: The 7-day average vessel waiting time is around 1 day. Operations at YOK D5 are currently stable, supported by reduced vessel calls and lower quay activity levels. Conditions are expected to remain favourable in the near term. However, congestion is likely to increase in the coming period, with waiting times projected to rise to approximately 1–1.5 days.

Malaysia

Port Klang: The 7-day average vessel waiting time is around 1.43 days. Yard density around 75–80% with stable productivity and waiting times

Tanjung Pelepas: The 7-day average vessel waiting time is around 2.13 days. Berthing conditions remain dynamic, with ongoing congestion pressures. Temporary berth restrictions due to crane commissioning and dredging are reducing available capacity, particularly at lower berths, and may lead to increased waiting times.

New Zealand

Auckland: The 7-day average vessel waiting time is around 3.0 days.

Lyttelton: The 7-day average vessel waiting time is around 2.0 days.

Philippines

Manila: The 7-day average vessel waiting time is around 3.61 days. Heavy berth congestion persists at Manila North, with off-window vessels facing delays exceeding four days. Yard utilisation at MICT remains high at approximately 80–85%, placing continued pressure on terminal operations.
