The country's Meteorological Office raised the weather warning to orange this morning

According to a Reuters report published today, vessels sailing through China's Qiongzhou Strait had to suspend their movement due to heavy fog.

The country's state media issued a weather warning for multiple cities, including Shanghai and Guangxi. The news further reveals that several ports in China halted the flow of traffic yesterday until visibility improves.

This morning, Shanghai Central Meteorological Observatory reported that visibility on Wednesday is less than 200 meters.
