Kuehne+Nagel reports that the strikes planned for Monday and Tuesday, 9 and 10 December, were cancelled.
Talks held recently managed to reach a contract agreement, averting rail disruption in container terminals.
However, no updates were announced about the strike planned by the labour union USB on 13 December.

Labour union USB has announced a new national strike for 13 December.
Container terminals PSA Genoa Pra and PSA Sech Terminals have indicated that there may be an undefined impact on operations.
In addition to the transportation workers' planned strikes in December, Kuehne+Nagel reports that train services to and from Genova Voltri (PSA Genoa Prà) will be suspended on 2, 7, 11, and 12 January.

Kuehne+Nagel reports that labour unions in Italy have confirmed a general strike for Friday, 29 November.
The strike impacts rail terminals and transport operations across Italy.
Logistics and transportation workers will also strike on 9 and 10 December regarding contract renewals.
Additional stoppages will occur on multiple days in December 2024 and January 2025, impacting railways and stations in Bologna, Padova, Genoa, Trieste and Milano.
