Due to planned strikes, Italy will experience significant disruptions in its rail transportation sector.
An advisory circulated by carrier MSC expects an impact on rail services at ports during the strike.
Italian Railway enterprises will call a national strike from 5 May 21:00 to 6 May 21:00 local time.
Local news reports that the national strike on 6 May is expected to particularly affect rail traffic in Lombardy.
Another regional rail strike is scheduled from 27 May 03:00 to 28 May 02:00, with guaranteed minimum services in place.
These strikes are part of a broader wave of industrial actions in Italy, including a nationwide air transport strike on 9 May.
