A fire broke out aboard the Malta-flagged Ro-Ro/Container Carrier Grande Argentina on Monday, 15 September.

 

A truck aboard the ship, which was docked at the O'Swaldkai terminal of the Port of Hamburg ignited around 17:00 local time and produced smoke.

 

The crew successfully extinguished the fire, responding immediately to prevent further spread.

 

According to media reports, authorities have not yet reported any injuries or material damage and investigations are expected to follow the incident.
