Truckers’ strike disrupts operations at Naples and Salerno ports

Kuehne+Nagel reports that trucking companies operating in Naples, Italy, have started a strike action on Monday, 1 December.

While the action was not officially announced, sources in the field report trucking stoppages affecting transport to and from port facilities, terminals, and gates.

The unrest stems from ongoing and frequent congestion on access roads serving these critical points.

Initially confined to Naples Port, the situation escalated today, 3 December, as similar measures were reported at Salerno Port.
