Major disruption reported in Spain due to severe floods

Severe weather conditions force closures and rescheduling of services in Valencia, with Barcelona and Algeciras on red alert

Heavy rainfall and adverse weather in Spain have led to several closures, restricting access to roads and ports and halting transport operations.

Kuehne+Nagel reports that terminals and depots in the Port of Valencia were closed on 30 October due to severe weather conditions.

Barcelona and Algeciras ports were also on red alert due to the storm.

On 31 October, the Port of Valencia confirmed that terminals operated by CSP Iberian Valencia Termina (CSP), MSC Terminal Valencia (MSCT), and APM Terminals had resumed operations.

The Port of Sagunto has also restored full operations for maritime traffic.
