Liner Maersk has reopened import cargo acceptance to Haifa Port as of 25 June.
"Vessels scheduled to call Haifa will continue with their regular port calls starting Monday, 30 June," said the carrier.
This decision follows a temporary suspension of vessel calls at the port due to escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.
In an update today, Maersk added that "acceptance for both import and export cargo is now open."
Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz remains navigable, reports Maersk.
In addition, carrier ZIM confirmed this week that the ports of Haifa and Ashdod are back to normal operations.

Container carrier Maersk recently announced that it will temporarily halt its vessel operations at the Port of Haifa, Israel, following a review of the threat risks in the region.
This action, which affects only Maersk-operated ships, is attributed to the company’s priority towards the safety of its seafarers and operations.
Maersk confirmed the temporary suspension to Danish media outlet ShippingWatch but expects no further disruption to other schedules.
“At the moment, we are not experiencing further disruptions to our scheduled operations in the region,” writes Maersk.
While the company has suspended calls at the Port of Haifa, Maersk confirmed that operations at the Port of Ashdod remain unchanged.
Meanwhile, carriers ZIM, ONE, Diamond Line and MSC continue to call Haifa and Ashdod, albeit with restrictions on hazardous cargo.
However, the situation may change on short notice depending on regional developments.
