Starting 10 November 2025, CMA CGM’s Short Sea Lines Division introduced the “Morocco Shuttle,” a new butterfly service connecting Morocco, France, and Spain.
The service aims to establish a sustainable maritime bridge between Agadir and Port Vendres, reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 75% compared to traditional truck transport. Two Moroccan-flagged vessels, each with a capacity of 1,100 TEU and equipped with 220 reefer plugs for 45’RFH intake, will operate the route.

Starting 11 December 2025, Gemini Cooperation will adjust the port rotation of the US1 service to improve eastbound transit times. Savannah will replace Charleston as the first U.S. discharge port, reducing transit time to Savannah by five days.

Starting October 2025, ONE introduced a new feeder service connecting Malé, Maldives, with global markets. Operating under the name “Maldives Feeder,” the service is designed to strengthen regional trade links and improve access to international shipping networks.

As of 28 October 2025, Hapag-Lloyd introduced the “Malaysia Singapore Feeder” (MSF), a new weekly service connecting Penang, Port Klang, Tanjung Pelepas, and Singapore before returning to Penang.
The MSF service is designed to provide dedicated feeder connections to the Gemini Cooperation networks at Tanjung Pelepas and Singapore.
Operating on a 7-day rotation, the service will deploy the 1,930 TEU vessel NORDSERAPHINA.

Despite its name, the service will call at Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi rather than Jebel Ali, offering enhanced connectivity across key Middle Eastern hubs. The JMX2 service will operate on a 7-day rotation using the 2,202 TEU vessel MYD HANGZHOU, ensuring efficient turnaround and reliable schedules for regional trade flows.
