Operations at the Port of Tripoli in Libya have come to a standstill due to intensifying clashes in the country.
According to Lloyd's List, port activities came to a halt on 13 May, and no vessel arrivals have been recorded since.
German carrier Hapag-Lloyd announced this week that it has temporarily halted all vessel calls to and from Tripoli.
In addition, it is no longer accepting bookings related to this destination, citing the deteriorating security conditions.
Container vessel MSC Amihan F, which was diverted away from the port on 17 May, called the government-controlled Port of Khoms instead.
The situation remains volatile, leaving the port's reopening uncertain.
