Ocean Alliance marks its 10 years by boosting container shipping network

Ocean Alliance partners, CMA CGM, Evergreen, COSCO Shipping, and OOCL, are marking their 10-year anniversary by introducing their updated Day 10 network for 2026.

According to the alliance's press release, the redesigned network reflects adjustments to port rotations and an expanded service design intended to match shifting customer demands and market conditions.

The Ocean Alliance network consists of 41 scheduled services across major international trades, and was described as "the largest operational alliance in the shipping industry."

A total of 394 vessels are assigned to the alliance’s activities, with 130 operated by CMA CGM. Collectively, the services provide a capacity of 5.3 million TEUs.

Trade lane-specific services in the revised network include:

  • 7 services operate between Asia and Northern Europe
  • 4 services run between Asia and the Mediterranean
  • 3 services connect Asia with ports in the Persian Gulf
  • 2 direct services to the Red Sea are suspended
  • 3 Transatlantic services link Northern Europe with the US East Coast
  • 22 Transpacific services in total:
    • 8 routes to the US East Coast
    • 14 routes to the west coasts of the United States and Canada

According to the announcement by OOCL and COSCO Shipping, the offered services will commence operations in April 2026, with services on the Transpacific lane to commence in May 2026.
