Reefer vessel Dole Colombia experienced a fire incident in its engine room on 10 August, reports Marine Traffic.
Onlookers observed smoke coming from the ship while it was berthed at the Port of Wilmington, USA.
According to the news, the Wilmington Fire Department responded to the incident and requested support from nearby departments, bringing in additional units to assist.
The fire was subsequently brought under control, and no injuries were reported among the crew during the incident.
Seaexplorer data shows that the 2046-TEU vessel, which is designed for the fruit trade, remains at Wilmington Port at the time of writing this article.
