Container ship Ever Oath suffers engine failure

Seaexplorer shows the vessel is still anchored in Ho Chi Minh City Port, Vietnam

On 17 September, Evergreen's container ship, Ever Oath, suffered engine failure on its journey to Vietnam. The latest information provided by FleetMon reveals that tugs were assigned yesterday, 19 September, to tow the ship to Cai Mep container terminal in Ho Chi Minh City Port.


According to seaexplorer, Ever Oath is still in Ho Chi Minh City. The departure date to Tanjung Pelepas Port in Malaysia remains unknown.


Ever Oath is a 2022 boxship with a capacity of 2476 TEU, and it is currently deployed for Evergreen's intra-Asia service VSM.
