Asia↔North Europe
In mid-March the OCEAN Alliance adjusted the rotation of one of its Asia-Europe services by removing Rotterdam and adding Southampton. The details are as follows:
- Carrier service name: FAL (CMA CGM), FAL1 (Evergreen), AEU2 (COSCO), LL4 (OOCL)
- Port rotation: Ningbo – Shanghai – Yantian – Singapore – Tangier – Dunkirk – Southampton – Gdansk – Le Havre – Southampton – Port Klang – Ningbo
- First sailing: APL Changi, ATD Ningbo on 14 March
Asia↔West Africa
In March, MSC revised its Africa Express service connecting Asia with West Africa by adding a port call in Kribi.
- Carrier service name: Africa Express
- Port rotation: Ningbo – Shanghai – Nansha – Shekou – Cai Mep – Singapore – Vizhinjam – Tema – Lome – Abidjan – Kribi – Singapore – Cai Mep – Qingdao – Tianjin Xingang – Busan – Kwangyang – Ningbo
- First sailing: MSC Diletta, ATA Ningbo, 10 March
Intra Asia
MSC will replace Tanjung Pelepas with Cai Mep on its service between Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia this March. The effective sailling is to be advised.
- Carrier service name: Pertiwi
- Port rotation: Busan – Dalian – Tianjin Xingang – Incheon – Qingdao – Dachan Bay – Cai Mep –Laem Chabang – Singapore – Panjang – Jakarta – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Cai Mep – Busan
- First sailing: TBA
In April, Evergreen will launch a new service connecting Northeast and Southeast Asia as follows:
- Carrier service name: Vietnam Thailand Malaysia Service (VTS)
- Port rotation: Shekou – Nansha – Sihanoukville – Laem Chabang – Singapore – Batam – Port Klang – Shekou
- First sailing: Ever Core, ETD Shekou 18 April
Oceania↔Europe
MSC and CMA CGM temporarily revised the port rotation of their service between Oceania and Europe, removing Rotterdam for seven consecutive sailings. ANL slot charters on this service.
- Carrier service name: Australia Express (MSC), NEWMO (CMA CGM), NEMO (ANL)
- Port rotation: London Gateway – Hamburg – Antwerp – Le Havre – Valencia – La Spezia – Fos Sur Mer – Pointe des Galets – Port Louis – Sydney – Melbourne – Adelaide – Fremantle – Singapore – Chennai – Colombo – London Gateway
- First sailing: Conti Chivalry, ATD London Gateway, 19 March
Asia↔South America
Maersk and CMA CGM will launch a new weekly service between East Coast South America and Asia in April. The new service will offer a direct connection to Santos from Central and South Chinese ports.
- Carrier service name: ASAS2(Maersk), SEAS3 (CMA CGM)
- Port rotation: Shanghai – Shekou – Vung Tau – Singapore – Santos – Singapore – Shanghai
- First sailing: CMA CGM Nansha, ETD Shanghai, 9 April
