A Russian missile strike targeted the HHLA Container Terminal Odessa in Ukraine on 23 May, leading to the deaths of three employees and injuries to five others.
The attack reportedly resulted in a severe fire aboard a container ship that was transporting military cargo to the port.
Civilian infrastructure within the port was also damaged, with the engine room and several administrative buildings, vehicles, and equipment destroyed.
According to Oleksii Kuleba, Ukraine's deputy prime minister for restoration, nearly 400 port infrastructure facilities and over 30 ships have been damaged or destroyed, in addition to 106 civilians injured in strikes against port operations.
