Intra Asia

At the end of March, Evergreen will launch a new service connecting Northeast and Southeast Asia.

• Port rotation: Nansha - Ho Chi Minh - Tanjung Pelepas - Jakarta - Surabaya - Manila - Batangas - Hakata - Tianjin Xingang - Dalian - Qingdao - Gunsan - Ningbo - Nansha
• Vessel deployment: Five vessels with an average capacity of 2,300 TEU
• First sailing: Ever Chart from Nansha on 29 March

Beginning in March, Yang Ming will revise the port rotation of its service connecting northeast Asia with Southeast Asia by adding Nansha and Ho Chi Minh and a second call at Hong Kong and Shekou. Taichung has been removed from the rotation.

Intra Mediterranean

Due to all container operations ceasing at the port of Catania, Sicily, CMA CGM announced it would replace Catania with Augusta, Sicily, from mid-March onwards.

• Port rotation: Naples - Salerno - Marsaxlokk - Augusta - Annaba - Trapani - Marsaxlokk - Civitavecchia - Livorno - Naples
• Last sailing from Catania: Ara Amsterdam on 14 March

North America <-> South and Central America

In late February, Maersk dropped Puerto Moin on its service between the east coast of North America and South and Central America.

• Port rotation: Port Everglades - Santo Tomas de Castilla - Puerto Cortes - Manzanillo (Panama) - Puerto Cortes - Puerto Barrios - Port Everglades - Wilmington - Norfolk - Philadelphia - Wilmington - Savannah - Port Everglades
• First sailing: Seaspan Loga from Port Everglades on 27 February

Transpacific

ZIM revised the port rotation of its transpacific service effective late last month. The carrier has replaced Xiamen, China with Cai Lan, Vietnam.

• Port rotation: Los Angeles - Cai Lan - Yantian - Los Angeles.
• First sailing: Loncomilla departed Los Angeles on 25 February
